I came accross this in my email, So i thought why not check it out... But wait another Anti-Virus program! There are plenty out on the markett right now, and some are free, But this one from Microsoft is free as well as it will be out of date with-in 10 days of the install.

So you ask why do i need it then?

The Microsoft Safety Scanner is not a replacement for using an antivirus software program that provides ongoing protection.

This is like Mentioned above is looking for certain viruses, So in short you should always use your Ant-Virus that you have or you can get one of many that are free.

I also recommend Ccleaner. This is a great program for cleaning up your PC. Once you get to their website you will see 3 Differnt downloads, The free version is good, But as in any paid program you get more. The choice is yours, Good thing about this program they do not advertise you to deth about wanting you to purchase it.
